GENERAL RULES AND LIST OF SERVICES
Riverland™ Dubai aims to ensure a comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. All visitors to the facility must comply with the following rules and regulations, notices, and the directions and requests of Riverland™ Dubai Team Members and Management.
•All persons, bags, parcels and other items may be subject to screening/security checks
•We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item to be brought into Riverland™ Dubai and to deal with any unattended object in such way as we consider appropriate.
•By entering the park, guests grant Riverland™ Dubai the right to film, video, record or photograph them on property for any reason without payment or consideration
•Guests who enter Riverland™ Dubai at their own risk and should be careful with their own safety and that of their belongings. Riverland™ Dubai shall not be held be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage you may suffer arising from your use of the park, whether such incident is caused by our negligence or otherwise.
•Guests should show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Colleagues by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior. For everyone’s safety visitors should refrain from running.
•For the comfort of all Guests, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke are allowed only in designated smoking areas.
•Children must be supervised at all times. Guests under age 13 must be accompanied by a Guest age 18 or older to experience Riverland™ Dubai.
•Access to and specific area and/or event depends upon the safety rules for each area or event.
Remind Guests of the dress code. Shirts and shoes are required, unless otherwise posted. Even on hot days it is important that the Guests wear their shirts and shoes.
Modest and appropriate clothing is required when visiting. In rare instance a guests’ clothing may have an objectionable or profane saying or graphic. If this occurs, please ask the guest to change their objectionable item. The solution may be as simple as turning the clothing item inside out. If needed giving the guest a replacement clothing item to wear may also solve the problem.
If the guest is wearing clothing that does not meet the modesty standards that are prevalent in the UAE, offering assistance in finding temporary clothing to provide adequate coverage is appropriate. Working with guest services and the wardrobe department, appropriate coverage can be provided for the guest to use on their visit. These borrowed items would be returned at the end of their visit.
Riverland™ Dubai management reserves the right to determine if clothing is appropriate.
The following activities are not allowed in Riverland™ Dubai, unless approved in writing or by means of contract by Riverland™ Dubai or Dubai Parks and Resorts.
•The unauthorized sale or distribution of goods, services, materials
•Engaging with other Guests or impeding the operation while posing as or portraying any character in costume
•Unauthorized events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd
•Feeding any animals, including birds
•Fighting and unruly behavior
•Photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind for commercial purposes
•Any action involving misuse or abuse of photography and/or video recording. The photographing and/or video recording (for personal purposes) of other visitors without their knowledge and permission will be regarded as a serious legal matter
•Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of Riverland™ Dubai or any associated facility.
Watch for Guests with restricted items which can cause a disturbance in Riverland™ Dubai.
If you see anything that is questionable, call a member of management immediately. In most cases they will ask the Guest to check the item into Guest Services until they leave for the evening.
A list of prohibited items and actions include:
•Ice coolers or cold boxes.
•Hover boards, Skateboards, Scooters and Wheeled shoes (Heelies)
•Wheeled mobility devices with less than 3 wheels or devices that cannot maintain stability and balance when stopped, unpowered or unoccupied
•Any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair or stroller, or pulled by a person, including wagons
•Folding Chairs, Sun Loungers or any type of temporary seating
•Weapons of any kind, or objects that appear to be weapons
•Glass containers (excluding small containers such as baby food jars)
•Pets or other animals, except approved service animals (e.g. dogs). Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times
•Any item deemed potentially harmful including weapons, knives or chemicals
